Last week, the boys and I explored a versatile, yet casual look. This week, I suggested we try something a bit more dapper—a look they could pair with Huggies Jeans diapers for an event or a night out. I was thinking a nice slimming suit jacket or something with a bowler hat. (Those hats just look good.)
Instead, playing off last week’s music theme, Boone dug into the closet and chose one of his grandfather’s vintage suits created by legendary clothing designer Nudie Cohn. Nudie built elaborately decorated stage outfits for rock, country and rockabilly icons such as Elvis Presley, Gram Parsons, Roy Rogers and Hank Williams, just to name a few. And Grandpa Larry (aka Larry Collins of The Collins Kids) wore them as a boy when he was a regular cast member on the music revue show Town Hall Party… Hey, that explains why my boys are such performers. It’s in their blood and their closet.
Boone’s got some growing to do before taking the stage in this outfit, but with his Huggies Jeans diapers it looks like he’s ready for the Huggies virtual runway. That’s great because for every photo uploaded to the virtual runway, Huggies donates diapers on behalf of its Every Little Bottom program, which provides diapers to children in need.
Maybe next time Grandpa Larry comes to visit, Boone and Wyatt can get a few pointers on pickin’ and strummin’ from the man who originally wore that Nudie jacket.

Napping with Puppies:
I always thought the phrase was “cat nap,” but in the instance, a dog nap seems far more appropriate.

Hazel and I have had a blast spending our summer as guest contributors here on Highchair Critics! From tutus to hair bows to mad denim diaper love….she has posed for the virtual runway and indulged in girly goodness for a great cause (Every Little Bottom)!
To wrap things up, I wanted to leave you with a final fashion tip.
I asked Hazel if she had any ideas for our parting post. And despite the fact my baby girl can’t actually speak, she nailed our sartorial motto with this one little look.
You’re never fully dressed without a smile!

When I found out we were having a boy, I was so excited to start shopping for him. However, when I started shopping, I noticed everything was covered in baby animals and sports memorabilia. I knew this wouldn’t do for MY baby so I started to look at the men in my life for inspiration! My brother-in- law Eric and husband Jeff really are the two best dressed guys I know, so I dress my little guy like them! He sports lots of vintage looking plaid shirts, funny t-shirts and cool accessories. Nothing too “cutesy” for Milo- we like a little bit of a punk edge. You won’t find any baby animals on his outfits!
The Huggies Jean diapers lend themselves to a lot of trends because Huggies Jeans diapers literally go with everything! Dress them up, dress them down, whatever; it all works. Milo is rocking his Jeans diaper with his pirate sweater, looking like a little rebel. He is taking the punk-sweater a little too seriously and getting into EVERYTHING!
Milo’s look has him ready for the Huggies virtual runway!
Baby Name Reveal:
Finally, a normal baby name! No strange names inspired by wildlife or a favorite color for Natalie Portman’s little guy; just a good, strong name!
