Budget-friendly Nursery Designs:
I may be young, but I know that money doesn’t grow on trees. I think this new nursery design website that helps parents design rooms without breaking the bank is a swell idea.

When you are a baby, heading in for check-ups and shots is a way of life. Let’s face it; sometimes Doc isn’t the most timely person in the world and we get bored very easily, which may or may not lead to tantrums. (Hey, you’d be crabby, too, if you knew shots were imminent.) Try these tactics at your next visit to keep happy and occupied.
- Tap a tune. Grab a few tongue depressors and start tapping to the beat of your favorite song. Your makeshift drumsticks may even inspire you to create a new song.
- 99 Luftballons. When filled with mama’s hot air, doctors’ rubber gloves make great balloons. Fill a few and start batting them around. Give a few fun high fives. Start a rousing rendition of “This Little Piggy”. The novelty of the balloons will help pass at least a few minutes.

These knit booties are scary cute! I can’t wait to toddle around in these all winter. I might even have to figure out a way to incorporate them into my Halloween costume!

Globetrotting Teddy Bears:
I’m still waiting for baby’s first passport, but in the meantime, I can live vicariously through these stuffed animals, who can travel the globe with this new travel service. I hope they remember to send post cards!

Best Apps for Busy Families:
Babies tend to be creatures of habit, but at times our Parents’ busy schedules get in the way of our daily routines. I’m thinking about suggesting these helpful apps to keep things on track.

Baby Born In Hotel Lobby Gets Free Stays for Life:
I believe there is some saying about knowing how to make an entrance, and this baby certainly took those words to heart. Instead of waiting until his Mom got to the hospital, he decided he wanted to be born in the lobby of a hotel. Now he gets free stays for life AND a room named after him. Some babies have all the luck!

iPhones for Toddlers:
I consider myself a pretty well-connected baby, but apparently I’m behind the times because I have yet to convince my Parents to get me an iPhone. Right now I just have this big plastic thing that plays “Old MacDonald Had a Farm” and “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star”. Looks like I have some catching up to do!

Dream Nursery:
This nursery is pretty fantastic, but I have a few suggestions to make it truly over the top. How about a mini-fridge for my sippy cups, a pacifier storage area, and some more thing for me to climb on?

Cute, Cozy Cold Weather Essentials:
Brr, it’s getting chilly around here! You grown-ups may feel comfortable in this brisk autumn air, but we babies tend to get cold very easily. I can’t wait to bundle up in these knit hats and mittens!

Halloween Costumes… for Strollers!
It’s one thing to dress us up like a hot dog or the latest pop culture icon for Halloween, but it’s a completely different ballgame when you create an ensemble for me AND my stroller. As a baby, I think it’s a pretty fun idea. Here’s to hoping my parents choose a Knight Rider theme for me!
