Recently our daughter’s been working on her first set of molars, which means we have to be emotionally and physically prepared for an all-night rodeo. So it helps, sometimes, to make sure we all dress the part. Well, it helps to dress HER for the part, as it’s harder to get frustrated with an angry, screaming, bucking bronco of a child when she’s all dolled up in adorable cowgirl PJs and a pair of puffy slippers masquerading as cowgirl boots and clutching a matching themed blanket. It doesn’t make nighttime wakings a picnic by any stretch of the imagination, but at least we don’t feel like a shootout might be necessary in order to restore some peace and quiet.   Of course, the most important thing is to always make sure we never forget to saddle her up in a Huggies Little Movers shaped-to-fit diaper before she hits the hay. It’s one less thing we have to rule out when she wakes us up with her earsplitting shrieks of anger – we’re never worried that her diaper is leaky or uncomfortable. We do sometimes worry that maybe a hat isn’t the most comfortable thing to wear to bed, but we also learned to pick our battles.   - Emily, Not That You Asked...
