Playing With the Dog:
What a dog! Each time she opens the drawer, he nudges it shut. That must be where he hides his bones!

Vintage Amp Toybox:
As much as I love dumping EVERYTHING out of my toybox, I think I’ll actually like keeping my toys in this cool toybox. Plus, it will make for some great pretend band practices. My teddy bear and I are quite the dynamic duo.

Can I get some fries to go with that shake?
This tiny dancer has the shimmy-shake down to a science, but I can’t help but suspect she’s shaking her shaped diaper with the help of someone. I call shenanigans.

Crazy Cool Cribs:
I don’t know about you guys, but some of these cribs are all different kinds of awesome. While I typically prefer more classic baby items (binkies, rattles, shaped to fit diapers), I am quite intrigued by these cribs!

You’re Getting Sleepy… VERY Sleepy:
We babies get tired at the drop of a hat, and when our eyelids start to droop and we’re overcome with a case of the sleepies, there’s no fighting it. Someone get this kid a blankey! He’s lights out.

Metallic Leggings For Baby?
My Mom has been listening to a lot of disco lately (don’t ask), and I’m feeling like my attraction to these metallic leggings is the unexpected by-product of my exposure to the sweet sounds of the 70s. They’ll look oh so chic with my shaped diaper!

Baby Chats With Mom:
Well, this blog is all about giving babies a voice, and Kate is QUITE the chatterbox! Let’s hear what she has to say.

Ladybug Birthday Bash:
Birthdays are pretty much the most fun thing ever. For my first birthday, they let me have my own cake, most of which I ended up wearing, but that’s neither here nor there. Next year, I think this super fun ladybug theme is just the thing for me!

Emo baby in the hizouse! While my daughter may be only 18 months, her attitude is up there with the greats: the kid can send you to your knees with one withering look. Plus, you know, her life is extremely difficult, with all that learning and playing and sleeping to do. Occasionally, I even have the audacity to insist that she clean up her toys or get down off of that chair.
She suffers, is what I’m saying. Her life is hard. She needs an outfit to express her strife; to give her an outlet for the repressed emotional edginess she so desperately longs to express. And what better choice than an ensemble that brings forth the original emo — well, troubled, anyway — girl, Edie Sedgwick? Though Edie brought many a pile of crap unto herself, her upbringing was deeply tortured. And while my own little one doesn’t know how good she has it, or how much we love her, her attitude is that of a truly tortured soul. One who must suffer the indignities of having to put her Play Doh away, go to bed at a reasonable hour and take (GASP!) a nap.
Underneath it all, she’s all heart — or rather, diaper — and though she’d never admit it, she secretly likes the way her Huggies Little Movers diaper not only fits her ample thighs like a glove (never bunching in the private parts! No sagging! Bonus!), but some of her favorite Disney characters make an appearance.
Like, you know, Eeyore, Emo King of the Pasture.

When you’ve descended from a long line of shadow assassins, it doesn’t matter what you wear. When you’ve descended from a dad who spent a better part of his childhood chucking throwing stars at trees in his backyard while practicing his final showdown monologue, well, you kinda have to hedge your bets.
And that’s why this ensemble is the perfect choice for my baby girl. It’s stealth enough to carry out covert seek and destroy missions, yet playful enough for weekend picnics at the park. The Mali French dress anchors this outfit. Its simple, playful design with a sash-like belt achieves the full ninja intimidation factor. This dress says “I’m a sharp-like-ninja-star cookie.” Paired with the Brass Knuckles Beanie, there’s no question who the baddest baby at the mall is. While they don’t make the traditional jika-tabi soft-soled ninja boots in baby sizes, they do make Pirate Grippy Shoes. When you spend half your days scaling fortress walls and jumping from treetop to treetop evading capture, a little grip goes a long way. These shoes also shatter the misguided notion that pirates and ninjas just cannot get along. Hey, I’m all about social change.
Underneath it all, a ninja just needs to be comfortable. The Huggies Little Movers diaper ensures that whether she’s vanishing in a cloud of smoke, ambushing a warlord’s caravan or just chillin in her Bumbo, my daughter will be doing it in style and with full range of motion. Because nothing ruins a good round house kick to the head like an embarrassing leaky diaper.

Gearing up for football season is always fun, especially when Marlee is right there cheering with me (or at least yelling “football!”), and we look forward to a great fall and even greater fall fashion!
Deeply rooted in family tradition for supporting our favorite football team, Marlee sports the cutest romper from the Garnet and Black Traditions collection. Being comfortable and girly at the same time are important to the little girl when we are going out. Shoes to match add to the cuteness factor and the new found ability to walk.
What’s that? Of course! The unseen, but most important, part of the ensemble is the diaper. Huggies Little Movers diapers, which are made for movers, help her stay comfortable and dry while we head out to tailgate (and of course show off how cute she is). She may never be “daddy’s little cheerleader”, but she will always be cute and ready for the festivities of the fall!

Recently our daughter’s been working on her first set of molars, which means we have to be emotionally and physically prepared for an all-night rodeo. So it helps, sometimes, to make sure we all dress the part. Well, it helps to dress HER for the part, as it’s harder to get frustrated with an angry, screaming, bucking bronco of a child when she’s all dolled up in adorable cowgirl PJs and a pair of puffy slippers masquerading as cowgirl boots and clutching a matching themed blanket. It doesn’t make nighttime wakings a picnic by any stretch of the imagination, but at least we don’t feel like a shootout might be necessary in order to restore some peace and quiet.
Of course, the most important thing is to always make sure we never forget to saddle her up in a Huggies Little Movers shaped-to-fit diaper before she hits the hay. It’s one less thing we have to rule out when she wakes us up with her earsplitting shrieks of anger – we’re never worried that her diaper is leaky or uncomfortable. We do sometimes worry that maybe a hat isn’t the most comfortable thing to wear to bed, but we also learned to pick our battles.

Peek-A-Boo: Scary, And Yet So Fun!
The first time my parents spooked me during a game of peek-a-boo, I was shaking in my Little Movers diaper and may or may not have turned on the waterworks. This brave baby recovers from the initial shock much better than I did.

Breaking news! Every now and then, we babies need to take a break (naptime is the most splendid part of the day), so we’ve asked a few of our favorite parents to take over while we get some rest. Trust us, you wouldn’t like us when we’re cranky.
