Big Baby!

Yowza! This newborn weighed in at more than 13 pounds when he was born. Despite being saddled with the not-so-cute nickname “Moose”, this big guy just too adorable!

Fashionable Feet: With the arrival of autumn (and dropping temps!), toddling about in little more than my Little Movers diapers isn’t such a great option. My tootsies tend to get pretty cold, and I’m loving these fun patterned socks. What a cute way to stay warm and in style! (via Patina Stores)     - Tutu Couture, Fashion

CAPTION THIS:“NOOOOOO!!! Mooooom!! When I asked you to dress me up for my hot playdate with Jamie I said I needed to look MONEY.”     - Jim, Busy Dad Blog   “Do you know how constipated I am? Listen, just because I’m dressed like a monkey doesn’t mean I AM a monkey. So lay off the bananas, Mom. I’m not sure how many times we have to have this conversation.”    - Jonna, Jonniker “I DON’T KNOW WHICH IS WORSE?!?! Being stuck in this thing with a dirty diaper, or the fact they thought this was a good idea to begin with!”   - John, The DaddyYo Blog “Is it not enough that you people continue to construct my entire wardrobe from hand-me-downs? I thought it couldn’t get worse than that, but now I’m in hand-me-down clothing made from ill-fitting polyester AND fashioned after an animal who is notorious for throwing his own feces. ALLOW ME THIS TANTRUM, PLEASE.”   - Emily, Not That You Asked...

Fun Items That Help Babies Learn To Walk: When I started crawling, my shaped diapers  helped me stay comfy while I scooted around the floor. Now I’m thinking about giving this walking thing a whirl, and while the Little Movers diapers will be helpful, I think these items will assist me as I achieve the next step of locomotion. (via lilsugar)  - Baby J. My baby Toby loves to wriggle. So, this weekend, we took him to the Jazz Age Lawn Party on Governor’s Island, where he could get his groove on. The band played 1920’s tunes, people danced the Charleston, and Toby (dressed in a striped onesie and Little Movers diapers) mingled with the crowd. He loved the pretty ladies!

I’m Fluent in Baby: When we babies try to tell our parents what we need, our parents usually look at us like we’re babbling for the fun of it. (What? You think we’re just spouting out gibberish? Please.) Well, the reverse is true for us, too. Mammalingo is a website that will help us decipher exactly what our parents are trying to tell us. Now, when will they create the same for us… (via Mammalingo)     - Baby J. Nuborn, Current Events
